Most awesome tag ever

Okay, so I got tagged by the amazing Rayne Speryll from Writing in Rivendell. Rayne, thanks so much for this tag! It's pretty cool. :-)

1. If the main villain of your favorite book/movie/TV series showed up on your front doorstep, what would you do? (Explain who it is first...)

Hmm.... I can't think of any villians today from my favourite series, so I'll just do a random series. Redwall, by Brian Jacques. The villian shall be Cluny the Scourge, from the title book Redwall (series has the same name) by aforementioned author Brian Jacques. Cluny the Scourge is basically a real bad rat who is leading a whole bunch of bad rats, ferrets, weasels, stoats and such to attack the peaceful Redwall Abbey.

Hmm... If he showed up on my front doorstep what would I do???? Probably scream. It would be p-r-e-t-t-y frightening! The next thing I'd do would be to go hide someplace safe. Maybe under my bed.

2. Now supposing the heroes opposite this villain showed up just after your exchange. What would you do then?

I'd be really happy!!! Yay!! I'm not massively skilled at using the sword so I'd be really glad they turned up to fight for me. :-) Then once they had vanquished Cluny and his army, I'd probably offer them a cold drink... maybe lemonade (or would champagne be more appropriate for the occasion???) or coke, depends on what they want. I think elderflower cordial or strawberry fizz would be in keeping with the mood of the book more, but I don't have much on hand at the moment.

3. So... moving on, the heroes defeat the villain (with some help from you, of course- whatever it may be. ;) But the next day, you're just walking along, minding your own business, when you suddenly come across the same villain... who is now lying in the dust severely wounded and unconscious. What do you do?

I wish I could say that I'd help him, just as the good Samaritan would. But in truth I probably would be a real bad Samaritan and walk right past with my nose in the air secretly rejoicing he is wounded! I know. I'm awful. So sorry.

4. Now his minions show up and kidnap both you and him and take you to their universe (or version of your universe, whatever it happens to be.) Your reaction?

Errm... Not sure what that reaction would be! I guess I'd be a bit stunned by then, as the events of the day would have been pretty overpowering. Maybe I'd be thinking that I'd be dreaming... and be like "Whatever" and just let them, thinking it was all a big dream!
In some ways I'd like to see where Cluny the Scourge and his army come from, because the book never says. But to be at their mercy? That does sound rather undesirable.

5. Your fantastic heroes have arrived to rescue you- but now you're faced with a choice. The villain, out of gratitude for your earlier help, (assuming you actually did help him when he was wounded) has offered you a chance to travel back to your own universe. However, the heroes warn you not to trust him. The only other way for you to get back home is to travel with the heroes on a long and dangerous journey... and there's no guarantee that you'll survive.
What. Do. You. Do.

Boy, whoever made this tag up certainly thought up some posers! You have to hand it to them. :-)

I didn't actually help the villain, but now let's pretend that I did. I know I'd prefer to go with the heroes anyway (villians are always bad and nasty, and I'd rather die with the goodies than the baddies- imagine how it would look if I was found dead after having travelled with Cluny the Scourge! My parents would be shocked. Cluny is sooo bad. I would not want to go with him anyway.)

So, yeah, I guess I'd go on the long dangerous journey. What would you do?

If you saw this tag and like the look of it, I'd love for you to do it too! I'll tag some people below (you don't have to do it unless you want too) and I'd really appreciate it if you did do it. C'mon... *wheedlesome tone* I did it! Your turn. :-)

So... I'm tagging...

Sayna from Shining Arrows
Jag Swiftstorm from From a Jagged Inkwell
Layla and Josiah from AAAAAAHHHH's!
Aarathyn Arvell from Inconceivable!

Okay, that's six blogs. I won't tag anymore. :-)
Have a great day! (Of course, if you weren't tagged feel free to do it... I'd love for you to do it anyway. Consider yourself hereby tagged.)

  1. Nice answers, Bonnie! I love Redwall, and also Cluny the Scourge. XD He was one of the best villains in the series.

And actually, I'm the one who wrote the tag, so thank you very much for the compliment! I did my best to make the answers tough. I'm glad you liked it.

    Thanks for answering the tag!
