Forgive Me

I had my schedule all planned out

For a well-filled busy day

Until I heard a still, small Voice

Come question me and say;

"I had today all planned out, too;

Does it belong to Me or you?"

And then in shame I bowed my head

"Forgive me Lord, I pray,

Hereafter I will consecrate

Each moment of the day;

And willingly I'll try to do

The things that You have asked me to."
