Priceless

My friend,

Today I'd like to share what's on my heart. I know a lot of people struggle with self worth and low confidence (I've been there). I'd like to speak to that and also put in a few words related to that for anyone who feels like giving up.

You know what?

Your worth is not measured by your achievements. It's not measured by what your family, or your friends, or your enemies say about you.

Your worth is measured by what the King says about you. And he says you are priceless.

Stop trying to compete. Stop beating yourself up when you don't succeed. Stop worrying about the terrible things that will happen if you fail.

No matter what you do, no matter what you go through, no matter what your journey looks like, you have a Father in Heaven who says that you are priceless. And he loves you. No restrictions. No restraints!

He loves you so much that he gave His life so you wouldn't have to lose yours. He chose you because of his great love and compassion and desire to be close to you.

You're worth it.

Friend, you're worth it.

You are worth it.

He didn't give Himself just because that was what expected. He chose to give Himself because that was the cost. That was the price that had to be paid! A life for a life. His for yours. He paid the price. Why? Because you're worth it! He wanted you and loves you that much!

1 John 4:9-10
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

This is love... not that we loved God, but that he loved us..... and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins!

And what an atoning sacrifice! One that guarantees us freedom forever and closeness with the God who freed us.

You are worth it.

You know, a lot of people go through hard times in their lives.

I don't know who you are or what you're going through today, but I want to tell you to keep going. Keep pushing on. Keep trusting in the Father. Your life is worth so much more than you could ever imagine! Don't give up!

You can do it.

And you don't have to do it alone.

The loving Father is right there with you. It might not feel like He's there but He is! The Bible tells us that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Never is a strong word. It means NEVER.

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

He is with you. And He is a Mighty Warrior who saves. I just love the imagery Zephaniah uses!

It's hard to picture God. But if you can picture Him delighting in you, smiling at you, laughing with you, that's what's happening!

You are worth it.

God is with you.

Don't give up!

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. 1 John 3:1
If you'd like more encouragement along the 'you are priceless' line, here's an awesome song!
