Changes of Seasons, verses and Schoolwork

What is your favourite season? Mine would have to be either spring or summer. Yup- both the 'S's!
If you want to tell the rest of us yours, you can vote using the poll at the bottom of this page.

Because I don't have much to say, (we've been visiting some friends for most of the day) I'm going to type here several passages from the Bible that are some of my particular favourites. (Please excuse improper paragraphing!)

Acts 2: 17-21

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit: and they shall prophesy:
And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath;
blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Hebrews 12: 1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,
who for the joy set before him endured the cross,
scorning it's shame,
and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Oh, one last thing to say, we started schoolwork today after our family's summer holidays.
*halfhearted attempt at a ghost of a smile* Looking forward to it...
