When everything seems meaningless
Recognising that God is the Lord of time
When my ideas of timing don't agree with his
Keeping on keeping on
When I am dog tired, discouraged, disillusioned, deserted, dusty, dry
Cast on his strength alone
Not a vague hope of a happy hereafter
But an assurance of heaven
Based on my trust in Christ's death as payment for my sins
Ceasing to worry
Leaving the future to the God who controls the future
