Joyfully Wondering

So, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm tired of my old blog description. It just said "The personal blog of Bonnie!" but I think that I want something more poignant, something a bit more relevant... something different.

What do you think?

I've been thinking about it and I would really like something to do with joy. Some of you may not know that my middle name is Joy (yup, that makes me Bonnie Joy). I think something to do with that would be nice.

I'd like to have an inspirational quote... a Bible verse... or even something else if it works!

Here's a few of different possibilities I've come up with.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. - Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. -Romans 12:12

"The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up." --Mark Twain

A joyful heart is good medicine - Proverbs 17:22

"Nobody really cares if you're miserable, so you might as well be happy." --Cynthia Nelms

Rejoice always - I Thessalonians 5:16

"If you want to be happy, be." --Leo Tolstoy (I like this one!!)

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy... - Psalm 16:11

"For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness." --Author Unknown

Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. - Psalm 16:9

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! - Psalm 150:6

You, dear reader, are just as much a part of this blog as I am. So, the choice is yours. What do you think? Which should I choose? Is none of them good enough? Do you have another suggestion? Fire away! I can't wait to hear what you think!

  1. Honestly, I think you should do away with the word 'Joy' because there are literally dozens and dozens of blogs with the word in it (nothing wrong with the name or word Joy!) :) But, that is your choice so I'll not interfere.

Maybe 'Rejoice Always' or 'Ever Rejoicing', 'Fullness of Joy', 'a Glad heart'... They probably sound silly so please don't hesitate to ignore them.. =)
