It doesn't link back to mine!!!
I just realised this when I was helping Danella make a button with mybannermaker.com
I tried my link for the first time and it linked back to mybannermaker.com !!! Not my blog as I had intended!
So, if you want to display my button on your blog, or if you already display it on your blog, here is the new code that will (hopefully) link back to my blog. :-)
(Copy and paste the code into an html converter or wherever you want.)
<a href="http://www.blessingsofbonnie.blogspot.co.nz" target="_blank"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/xPDkdYw.jpg" alt='Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com!' border=0 /></a><br><a href="http://www.mybannermaker.com/">Make your own banner at MyBannerMaker.com!</a>
Now, while we are on the subject of buttons, here is the button for Danella's blog Footprints in the Sand. Just copy and paste this code into wherever.
<a href="http://www.footprints98.blogspot.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/Fk8tsi7.jpg" alt='Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com!' border=0 /></a><br><a href="http://www.mybannermaker.com/">Make your own banner at MyBannerMaker.com!</a>
Terribly sorry and all that.... Please forgive me...
:-)
You can take out the Make your own banner at MyBannerMaker.com! and keep the image !
ReplyDeleteReally??? How do you do that???
Delete:) In all reality, you don't even need the "mybannermaker.com" at the bottom of your blog buttons. If you go here [http://morefromyourblog.com/how-to-make-a-blog-button/] or here [http://oikology101.blogspot.co.nz/2008/09/make-your-own-button-for-your-blogger.html], and use this [http://pixlr.com/] or this [http://fotoflexer.com/] or this [http://www.online-image-editor.com/] (that's one of the simpler ones) to make your button, you'd be all set. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry about me--I used my own code and just copied in the image url and your blog address. :) Same for Danella's. :)
(I'm sorry if all those links are scary....;) and no, I am NOT a spammer! ;))
Oh wow Esther! You are incredible! Thanks so much for all your helpful non-spammy advice!
DeleteI will attempt to try these things... I've already gone onto several of the websites you mentioned and will play around with them when I get time.
Thanks again.. you readers are wonderful!
"helpful non-spammy advice". Ha. ;)
DeleteHopefully you'll be able to figure out how to do it, anyway! :)
