Goodbye, lovely people who read my blog.
Don't worry, this is hopefully not going to be a permanent goodbye! :)
In case you haven't heard, in two days time I'm hopping onto an aeroplane and heading off to the land of the United States of America. I'll be there right up until the end of January. I'm helping at a Christian ministry called Above Rubies (doing admin-type work) in Tennessee. I'm so excited!!
Anyway, I've been quite busy the past few weeks. What with sitting law exams, preparing to go away, catching up with friends I won't see for a while and just life.... it's been a wee bit crazy! I haven't scheduled any posts for while I'm away.
I have no idea what my schedule is going to look like when I'm away. I also don't know what the internet is like. I've heard it could be patchy.
I'm hoping I'll be able to get back into blogging when I've settled in a wee bit. If I have the time, mental capacity and internet, I'll definitely blog. Don't expect any posts for a little while... but know that I'm thinking of you and love and miss you guys!! :)
Also, Mum has finished our 2016 family Christmas newsletter! As I have been doing every year, I've created a special page on my blog for it and will leave it up for a few months. Enjoy. Check it out here. Warning: it's quite long!
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139:9-10
Oh, how exciting! Where do the Above Rubies people live? (Pearl and Serene right? )ReplyDelete
But January is such a long time! You'll miss your family something awful won't you?! :(
I hope all goes well!
Have you ever been to the USA?
They live in rural Nashville area. Yep, It's Pearl and Serene's wider family, the Campbells. :)Delete
It is a long time... and I'll miss my family, being gone over Christmas and New Year etc... but I know the time will go quickly and it's going to be so much fun!
I've never been to the US before. I'm so excited.
How exciting, Bonnie! I hope you have a lovely trip, and enjoy your time in the US. I'm sure we would love to hear about your experiences when you return! :)ReplyDelete
Thanks! :) I hope to be able to tell you stuff before I return... :PDelete

Awwww I'll miss you too!Delete
WOW. Haha, the internet is patchy in Tennessee or America? XDReplyDelete
That is so cool...wish we could connect as I am an American...but unfortunately I don't live near Tennessee ;). I hope you like your trip! You should REALLY make a post on your thoughts/experiences on America and American people.
Haha, the internet is patchy in the part of the US I'm going to. I'm sure it's fine for most of you... :PDelete
Thanks for your post idea! I'll definitely share my thoughts and experiences.
Whereabouts do you live, Mic?
Nice to have you drop in!

How exciting! I'll miss your frequent posts, but what a neat opportunity you have! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about America. :) And Tennessee is a lovely state. :)ReplyDelete
Thank you for your encouragement, Rachel! I'm enjoying these last few days at home... but I know coming over the States will be neat.Delete
