Introducing.... Michael Isaiah William!

I mentioned at the bottom of my last post that we have another brother. Well, here are all the details and photos! :)

Michael Isaiah William is the name he has been given. He's as cute as a button and weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces (2976 grams). Born 29th August 2016. :) Mum did amazing and is feeling great.

Here are a few photos from my cellphone of some of us when we went in to visit Mum and baby in the hospital.

And here he is, in all his asleep cuteness, taken when he was around 15 hours old.

Now it comes to 'cute nickname time'. Some of us like Mick, Mickey and Mickey Mouse. :D Any suggestions?






PS. As you'll have seen, my blog design has changed. I was getting a little tired of the old one. I quite like the new one. I did all the artwork for it - I painted the header image, background (watercolours), welcome image and my new post signature. It was heaps of fun and I always learn so much when I change my blog! :) What do you think of it?

    Congratulations! How exciting for you and your family. A new baby is always such a strong reminder of God's amazing masterwork.
    How did you do the watercolor your blog? On a computer or a file from a real-life photo? Its such a pretty color.

      Thanks! It's so exciting. He's such a wee perfect masterpiece (great word!).
      I did the watercolour artwork on paper then scanned the pages in and uploaded them, if that makes sense.

      I know! I've still got the record of being the smallest baby in our family though... I was 6 pounds 4 oz. The others were all around 7.

      I know, He is awesome indeed. Mum only laboured for around 2 1/2 hours in the end so it was pretty amazing!

    Oh, dear Bonnie! Congratulations on your precious baby brother! He is too sweet for words...I love that picture of him surrounded by his adoring siblings! Aww! And what a beautiful name...
    Little Caleb was born on April 29th and thus turned four months on August 29th, so he and Michael are exactly four months apart! I am so glad that this precious baby boy has arrived safely - how blessed he is to have so many older siblings to love him! I have been praying much for you all and for your mum...praise Jesus for His grace! Again, hearty congratulations...I am so excited for you all!!!

      I loved seeing the photos of Caleb when you posted them to your blog recently! He is such a bonny boy. Funny that they are four months apart! I wonder if they will ever meet someday.
