I love the country and have visited a fair few times, indeed the Kiwis are a very relaxed people. Evening meal = tea (some people call it dinner, most Kiwis call it tea).
Haha, meal names are confusing. :P What do you call the evening meal?
Blessings
BonnieBonnie Sampsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17920875696870120137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172239685311691735.post-68818718089650669612016-06-14T06:50:59.708+12:002016-06-14T06:50:59.708+12:00Dear Bonnie,

(I meant to comment on this post when you posted it, but I was so busy.)
I love how you all call lunch "tea". I read a book where the people said, "we're going to have a small tea today." I didn't know it meant lunch at that time, but I found out later. And then when I read your post, I realized people still do call lunch tea.
:) Anyway, thank you so much for posting this. I loved reading it! :D
Love,
AshleyAshleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172239685311691735.post-59669697637493208872016-05-28T09:32:43.990+12:002016-05-28T09:32:43.990+12:00I agree about our Aussie accent, apparently on som...I agree about our Aussie accent, apparently on some words I sound Australian but where I'm from we tend to round everything slightly (or maybe that's my 11 years of choir haha :D) Evangelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06946413686778364463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172239685311691735.post-82517192771963024662016-05-25T06:58:58.077+12:002016-05-25T06:58:58.077+12:00Oh yip. I know... the Australian accent ...Whoop, whoop! :)
I know... the Australian accent tends to be very stereotyped (along with all accents actually). I don't know many Australians but I know their accent... and I love it. I love all accents actually! It sounds like a neat place to visit. :)
Haha, the biscuit/scone/muffin thing is something that I always confused! Your scones look more like American biscuits than what Americans call scones. Your biscuits are what we would call cookies, and blueberry muffins should be the same everywhere. ;) Emily https://www.blogger.com/profile/16623387781694321843noreply@blogger.com
